Greetings- Charlie Adair told me about this site.  Had a chance to look at the pix of some old shipmates (Old?) Glad to see some of you are still moving around.  I felt sort of strange when I read she had been used as target practice and sunk out near Hawaii.  It was a good bye old friend moment.  Saw her after decommissioning, rusting and all...sure different from my first impression when she was a brand new ship.  Hope to see you in Arlington in Sept 2010.  Mike Chouinard (A&E Div Off. 66-68)

I had the priveledge of serving a year and a half on board the mighty Ogden and  did 1 west pac in 04'.   Served with a bunch of great guys in the pitt(just an overall great crew on the ship that let me slide a few time), I was a messanger, and lower level BT(?).  I'll always remember this one fellow, FN Miranda, was he a character.  I ended up going to VA to finish off my 4 year Navy career and enjoyed my time in San Diego much more than VA, the wife coming with to VA may have been a factor!

I am looking for anyone that might of known MMC george rowlison.  He had orders for the USS Ogden but passed away before joining the ship in New York City harbor in 1965.  I heard something about there being some kind of a plaque in his honor.  Anyone with any information, it would be greatly appreciated in hearing from you.  God bless america and all you loyal and dedicated veterans.  His loving sister.
