Hi, I would like to visit King Island and would like to look for work while i'm there. I would like to see if there are long term employment opportunities. Farm hand experience, manufacturing experience ( machine operator, food industry, chemical mixing/handling)
Looking for more peaceful surroundings and quiet lifestyle. Healthy and easygoing 39yo male.
If anyone knows of any work opportunities i would like to hear from you.

Hello, I am wanting to know if there is work on the island as a registered nurse. I have a lot of experience in a wide section in nursing in both hospital and agency. My family originates from King Island, my grandfather was Harris and he had a small dairy farm where I stayed a lot as a child. Also what is available in regards speech therapists etc or are these located on the mainland.

Hi there
I first started coming to King Island while working for Telecom Australia in the 70's and 80'.
I lived, and worked from, the old Cable Station at Naracoopa for a few years before leaving to work for King Island Scheelite at Grassy.
There, I worked for a year or so as an Engine Driver in the Powerhouse, then for about 6 years as a Security/First Aid Officer, and last (prior to emigrating to England) as Mill Operator and a Database Programmer in Terry Weston's office.
