Hi Randy.
I am glad I had the oppertunity to catch you before you left.  You left a lasting impression and your efforts were invaluable, (especially for the RD Rally in 2008) it has made this a better club. We will miss you.  Although I am sad to see you leave Red Deer, I am excited for you to start a new adventure in BC. Good Luck and keep on riding.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude to everyone over the years that I have met during my membership with the Red Deer Harley Owners Group Chapter. I was not able to see everyone I wanted to before I left but know you are in my thoughts as I start a new venture in British Columbia. I was very proud to be a part of this chapter and saw it grow into a great organization. I bid you all farewell and safe riding and thank-you again for your friendship and the memorable miles.

I hope everyone has thier rooms booked and are ready to ride to the Alberta HOG rally in Edmonton Aug. 19,20,21. Make sure you sign into the Chapter guest book, and signing up helps let the rest of us know who is there from the chapter. Also if you sign up for any of the events, games, etc, it gives the Chapter points for the Rally Participation Challange. See you all there.

Hi all, as you may have rec'd notice, the Highwood Pass Run will be held August 28-29, 2010 with an overnight stay at the Stoney Nakoda Resort Saturday night. A block of rooms has been set aside until the last week of July so all you have to do when you call is mention the Red Deer HOG Chapter block and you will receive the block rate. Also, if you can let me know that you will be attending, that will help those leading the ride as to how many will be in the group. Should be a good time!

Last year a few of us did the Iron Butt Associations "SaddleSore" ride (1000mi in less than 24 hrs). We planned it to coincide w/ HOG's "Million Mile Monday". If there is enough interest, I could arrange another one for this year (June 28th). I think we should do a "Bunburner" (1500mi in less than 36 hrs) this time. Please e-mail me (sulz@telusplanet.net) if you are interested. For more info check out the Iron Butt Associations web site @ www.ironbut.com

Finally.... pulled back the covers, dusted off the bike, checked tire pressure, took it off the lift, and in one push of the button, "a new season began".......did the first ride today, Sat. March 20.   We only went for a short one, out to blackfalds then for a Bently Monkey Top Burger, with Deb/Dwayne A. But Oh what a feeling. Now I know I wasn't the first to get out....I usually wait a bit for the ice to melt, street cleaning, etc. It was nice to get the cob webs off. RMM
