I bought a copy of Taste Of Syria this past weekend and read it cover-to-cover last night. My mother is a great cook of Syrian food but never wrote down any recipes. I felt like I was travelling back in time through my mother's kitchen as I read each mouth-watering recipe. Many of the foods are familiar to me ... but I never knew the ingredients. I thought they were a guarded family secret !!!
I will be happy to share this book and recipes with family and friends.
