CheekySweetie from Spring Hill, FL (Going home) message 975 · sent: 2009-02-12 04:57
My grandmother was in a rehab facility when my sister-in-law asked when she thought she'd be going home.  My grandma thought for a moment and said April 6th.  We brought her home on the 5th and joked about her being early, but she passed away just before midnight the following day.  April 6th.  She knew even before she knew.  I think a wisdom beyond anything we will ever understand is in the hearts of those who are meant to join the heavens soon.  Bless you and your angel.

I am so sorry to hear about Jessica. I am so heartbroken.

You dont know me, but I found Jessie's site about a year ago through other NB kids' sites. I hadn't checked in for a while and my heart sank this morning when I read the news. I lost my cousin Carl Robinson to this disease in November 2004 when he was just shy of 5 years old. I hope you find comfort knowing that she was ready to become your guardian angel. Many prayers going up for Jessie and all of her family.

I have a beautiful memory of Jessica Rose - thanks to her father, Bo, who took time to bring Jessica by to visit.   I feel for her father - and for her entire family - that someone so sweet & young passed away like this.   God Bless you Bo and God Love you Jessica.

Hello.  I just learned of Jessica through the NB website.  It was so sad to read how Jessica was given bad platelets when she's already been thru so much but to read how she wanted to go home and was already home?  Isn't it amazing?  You also said that God saved her from the cards she was dealt.  I never thought of it that way but struck a cord in me.  I pray that God helps you through this time of loss.  God Bless You and Keep you in his Embrace.

Oh Maureen, I am so sorry. Tears flow here in Austin too, because your little girl's too-short life and valiant struggle touched me as it touched and inspired so many others.

Please take comfort in knowing that friends everywhere grieve with you and for you, and that memories of her every smile will help to sustain you while she's gone.

We are praying for your family and asking God to help you all deal with this loss.  Mason and Jessica have been friends since 2 yr old pre-school and we have followed her throughout the years.  She had to be the bravest little girl I have ever met and I know she will be deeply missed.  You will be in our constant thoughts and prayers!
