The Officers and membership of Dan Darragh wish to express their condolences to the Patton family, who within the past week have lost two of their beloved family. We know that their passing will not only leave a void in the lives of their family, friends and loved ones, but also in the hearts of all who knew them. Kind and Gentle people such as the Patton Family are few in life and it is with a heavy heart that we also grieve with your loss. May your memories bring your family comfort in the days ahead. Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with you. With our deepest sympathy, Dan Darragh RFB

Hi mo chara, could you please inform me what has been achieved since the sacrifice made by the Hunger Strikers, other than S/F joining the paid ranks of the British Establishment and now working closely with the PSNI I would suggest that nothing has changed other than Northern Ireland being more secure within the United Kindom. It has proved that the Republican Agenda of the murder of innocent women and children has indeed been a waste of time and now the "volunteers" are busy in the drug trade,I suppose that is for their country as well, just be British and PROUD of it and continue to collect your Brirish Benefits, not a bad website, slan!

A chara, since the ultimate sacrifice made by the H-Block Martyrs of 1981 Provisional Sinn Fein has made very little accomplishments, Instead I believe they have forfeited more than they have attained, and I personally agree with your comments suggesting they are now in the paid ranks of the British Establishment, That is why our band has NO formal links to Provisional Sinn Fein. We proclaim to be a Republican Flute Band, and that is exactly what we are!
Your statement relating to Volunteers being implicated in the Drug Trade, well I wouldn’t call any UDA,UFF,UVF,LVF,UYM,YCV Member a Volunteer, they dishonour the name. But if that’s how “loyalists” (loyal to the pound, not the crown) desire to raise funds well that’s a indignity, considering their only destructing their own communities.
As for collecting “Brirish” benefits, first of all I’m assuming you meant to write “British” but your feeble mind wasn’t able to string seven letters together to form a recognised word, well I wouldn’t know anything about that as I work for a living. But you seem to be the connoisseur on the benefits system, remember to post your Incapacity form this week, we wouldn’t want you missing your free hand-outs.
I also commend and applaud you on your Irish language proficiency, this will be very useful to you in an United Ireland, I recommend you keep promoting it as you have done so already in your last post.
Slan mo chara

Hi there, it has been a while since I have posted on here. I have seen some footage of your band marching recently on YouTube. Well done! It's good to see that the band is still going strong on the road and sounding great as they always do.

Would one of you please be good enough to let us all know where the Darraghs currently stand ? is it with British Sinn Fein or is it with comrades fighting for freedom from British rule in Ireland ? In the past we always considered the band to support British Sinn Fein due to family member links with in the band and one member linked to a SF support group for ex POW's. Slan

Chara, the Dan Darragh RFB support ALL volunteers who paid the ultimate sacrifice for Ireland. We support the Irish people in their fight for self-determination free from British Occupational Forces. We refute any claims that we have any direct or indirect link with Sinn Fein. We are an Independent Republican Flute band, whose leadership are active members of the Republican Network for Unity.

DDRFB i know I've been busting your balls a bit about the Fair so in the intrests of community relations why dont three or four bus loads of lads from the East come up to Ballycastle before Christmas. You can take us to The Marine Court Hotel and treat us to a nice big turkey dinner with all the trims plus as much booze as we can drink. This would be greatly appreciated. Please let us know so I can give you the exact numbers coming.

That is precisely what I am stating. My father was born catholic, christened catholic, received his first holy communion catholic, received his confirmation catholic, married in the chapel catholic, as was my mother.
You could certainly be right, Declan Wilson?s father may very well be protestant but mine isn?t. Not that religion should be an issue anyway unless you are a bigot? Oh wait a minute you are!
This will be the last interaction I shall have with you because your trivial dogmatist mind is obviously not formed well enough to process incoming information.

spike so seem very offended by our way of life in Ballycastle, you know if i go somewhere and dont like it i will not come back, simple as that. You seem to think our member has the surname "wilson"which sounds nice and if you like it then knock yourself out.Spike we have a big following in our town of celtic fc and of the GAA so i dont see the problem with the young ones wearing the shirts,Do you think then Rangers shirts should be banned in east Belfast?didnt think so,also my uneducated bitter friend our local hurling club holds the record in Antrim for the most titles so they have every right to wear our club colurs with pride,as for our irish music its our culture sorry to dissapoint you.

Any point in it ? What about these new uniforms the band are getting ? they look a bit like Brit army So any chance of putting up a Ballycastle single mums gallery ? would like to see a few of them. Can you send the bebo link you talked about ?

It didnt take a lot of bravery to stick a bomb under a car and run away of a policeman visiting his 85 year old mother. Bunch of cowards. When are you going to remove the IRA stall at the Fair. Could you please ban the wearing of offensive Celtic and GAA shirts as well as the playing of Irish music. I find the drunken youths, bad language and horses dung in the street also off putting. Sort these items out for next year and then both sides can enjoy a family day out in a neutral atmosphere.

Declan Wilson, will you at some state come out and condemn these young scrounging tarts in Ballycastle that our living off our backs through housing benefit and single parent allowances. Why are they accepting British benefits if they so moral ? You have a brother who is a member of Sinn Fein and one of their mouthpieces, why do you say you haven't ? By the way, I am not a loyalist mate, I am actually a republican supporter of an Eastern European background. And you really are too young to have played a role. I see you support Conroy, I read his posts here and on other sites, they are sickening, he is a pervert

I think its pretty sick to gloat about the murder of a police officer who left three young kids behind , especially at this time of year. He was a soft target visiting his 85 year old mother and it didn't take a lot of bravery to stick a bomb under his car and run away.I suppose you find the burning to death of four PSNI officers(two of them catholic GAA players) in Warrenpoint hilarious as well. Back to the Fair....... are you going to have the IRA stall at the Fair removed? A ban on local youths wearing offensive Celtic and GAA shirts plus not playing any Irish music would also help. Both sides can then enjoy a fun day out in a neutral atmosphere

I dont think its very helpful to gloat over the death of a police officer who left three young kids behind, especially at this time of year. You might think its smart and clever of you but its nothing to be proud of. He was a soft target visiting his 85 year old mother and it didnt take alot of bravery to stick a bomb under his car and run away. Now I hope you have seen sense and are going to remove that IRA stall at the Fair. Also it would be nice if local youths stoped wearing offensive Celtic and GAA shirts. I would also appreciate a ban on irish music which i find both annoying and tedious. Both sides can then enjoy a fun day out in a neutral atmosphere.

First of all to remove pictures of the site just because you don't like them, isn't a good enough reason. You had no problem putting up pictures of my friends from Silver Plains. The matter I want to clear up is this myth that Ballycastle is a republican town. That is total bull, shite. I lived in Belfast and we saw more action in one night that Asshole town Ballycastle saw in a year. As for calling that band republican, a pack of kids who were ten when the ceasefire was called (one asshole in the band was involved in an attempt on a policemans life was served time in HMS Maze) You are a collection of sad kids and old Tim Conroy is a sad joke, never been to Ireland and never will.

I agree, You in all probability did see more action in Belfast in one night because your loyalist areas are riddled with drugs, criminality and prostitution, sorry if we have superior principles here in Ballycastle than your loyalist neighbourhoods in belfast.
One of our band was involved in an ATTEMPT on a policeman?s life? A pretty triumphant attempt don?t you think bearing in mind the policeman died in that car bomb in Ballycastle. Theres a lesson to be learnt there, don?t drink whilst on duty! Also he most certainly should not have been getting back into his car to drive.
As for the pictures, It is not me who uploads them, but I envisage that they are in retaliation for the pictures posted on fake bebos and loyalist websites, I try to moderate this website and have an equally balanced opinion, I also don?t delete or change any anti-republican or anti-catholic comments as I encourage healthy debate, something your friends cant say on their websites!!
However I will remove any pictures or information that people post about fellow band members and myself or to be more precise, information people THINK they have on myself.

Between them they receive 653.00 pounds a week in state benefits. Right Tim Conroy, which one would you fancy ? I support Sinn Fein as my brother is a Ballycastle party member, My surname thanks to my father in actually Wilson ! yes yes I am a blue nose

A simple question, how the hell can this gang of out of tune morons living in that pocket called Ballycastle call themselves republicans ? (they live of BRITISH STTE BENEFITS) Scroungers. They vote for BRITISH SINN FEIN (the mod here has a Shinner for a brother). Republican terrorists claim to have fought a war. It wasn't in Ballycastle ! Stats show it barely makes a blink on the 1969 - 98 period. Only one clown in this gather up here was involved and served a sentence. South Londonderry saw their terror units destoyed by informers from Ballycastle. Maybe you will be kind enough to list the Ballycastle 1st and 2nd Batt, Battle Honours. It shouldn't take long.

I take it then as the Fair is for everyone there would be no objection to a stall selling loyalist items in the intrests of equality. Or would it be better just to keep politics out of what is supposed to be a fun day out for all sides by not having any paramilitary items on display.

I was in Ballycastle with my family at the Auld Lamas Fair and was disgusted to see stalls selling IRA material. Was the day not supposed to be for all sides?

Come on udr...heroes, which one is you taking the photos you have on your site in this video clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sb00agFsZko just copy & paste the link into your browser. Loyalists were enticing a riot by throwing nuts and bolts and something that sounded like fireworks bangers as republicans duck their heads. Republicans did their late relatives proud by continuing with their peaceful and dignified protest.

Would any of you be kind enough to help me understand how or why the Plastic Paddy Conroy or the brother of a shinner (Declan) still think unity of the island is possible. 1. If an army surrenders to it's victors they hand in arms. 2. Who does Sinn Fein MLA's represent in Dublin when they attend meetings, Britain or Ireland ? 3. The unionists always wanted Stormont back and to be the main party there under the Union Jack, they got it. 4. Sinn Fein stood the army down July 05 and agreed to assist the British to govern the North of Ireland for a wage, Correct ? 5. As to joining the policing board. Answer this please, nothing rude sweatbox pervert Conroy

udr here it is, another chance for you to prove your alleged bravery. I have put up my name, my phone number and my picture along with details for anyone that wishes to cross paths with me. To date, neither yourself nor any of your orange bed fellows has found the testicular fortitude to do so, nor the plane fair. Yet you still hide your face, in shame is my guess, and refuse to step up. Be a man for the first time in your family`s sorted history and show yourself or crawl back under your rock and hide. Tim Conroy, Henry Ave(East Falls section of) Philadelphia, the conqueror of all orange cowards

We are the real D.D.R.F.B Ballycastle so would the person who continues to write in as D.D.R.F.B stop now or we will put all your details up.Conroy Charlie o Donnell is from Chicago unless he moved to East Belfast which i highly dont think so and uses the same ip address as the clown calling himself udr heroes and also who calls himself silver plains. The silver plains for your information udr is now disbanned, not enough members i heard but its nobody writing on behalf of there band and the reason udr uses that name is because its the closest orange band to Ballycastle. We dont mind debates on here from both sides but please use your names or your ips will be displayed as proof.slan.

I want an honest answer Tim Conroy. You boasted that you enjoyed several office girls over your desk and also you enjoyed the charms of a young girl from Canada who is married and lives near you. Well if this is the case that you are a serial shagger would you not consider moving to Ballycastle as there are more single mums here than anywhere else in the United Kingdom. These single mums live with their hand out for taxpayers to foot the bill all because they can't keep their legs closed. We have completed a list of these tarts who are living with guys and claiming single parent housing benefit and we iintend to report them. Did Regan or Sean enjoy Alison ?

A little thought for the people who claim to be friends with Billy Nolan and have known him for years 1. His name is not Billy Nolan, Itis LIAM DOLAN 2. He does not live in Manchester and he never has lived there 3. He does not have a wife called Liz, and He does not have 5 children 4. He does not have a 21 year old handicapped son, another lie looking for sympathy 5. He does not have a job and fraudulantly claims incapacity benefit, 6. He has previously been caught falsely collecting money for republican prisoners to use for his own purposes 7. He has never set foot in Northern Ireland, 8.He does not own his own pipe laying company and £350,000 house. A modern day walter mitty

It is difficult to understand why anyone would support and glorify violent terrorism, for over a year now I have been trying to get inside the minds of these people to discover what makes them so sick, So far I have discovered that they all seem to be lonely sad individuals with no real life and no real social standing, Lies are normal practise for them and they have no hesitation in back stabbing each other. They also seem to have some sort of identity problem and don t really know who they are, they tend to believe their own lies and genuinely know very little about the murderers that they support, They are also cowards who have no morals or ethics, Generally lowlife scum,

IRA volunteers in Tyrone were on the whole far more sectarian than I was or ever could be. Their Catholicism was of a virulent and hate-filled brand. It is, in retrospect, hard to see how it could have been otherwise. Militant Irish nationalism and Irish Catholicism have a deep and complex relationship, nowhere more so than in rural areas of Northern Ireland like Tyrone, Fermanagh, and Armagh. During this period I was involved in recruiting new IRA volunteers. One of our main safe houses was a parochial house outside Omagh. Sometimes we used that house to initiate new members. Imagine the effect on a young uneducated country lad brought to his parochial house under cover of darkness to be

Why not use your real name Billy, It is childish to use other names, we all know you are a pri*k, changing your name does nothing, Do you know who Geno Gallagher, Brendan Hughes or Ruby Davison were yet, they are all dead so you will get them on your bookmark page, I am really suprised no republican has exposed you yet as I can do it at will, any sign of a job yet layabout
